How to Sauna:

Sauna. Cooling down. Resting. Food and drinks. In the new hot spot at Lake Zurich. Open Monday to Saturday 16:00 to 22:00 and Sunday 10:00 to 22:00 o'clock. Grab your sauna towel, bathrobe and slippers and simply drop by. The occupancy ticker will show you the number of free places. For the ultimate experience you can rent one or more sauna cubes exclusively from Monday to Saturday from 12.00 to 16.00 o'clock.

  • Changing rooms with hairdryers, bathrooms and hot showers. Two relaxation yurts: one next to the winter bistro for snacking, the other behind the sauna cubes for pssst ... relaxation in silence. The winter bistro with food and drinks to keep you full and happy.

  • Sauna, cool down, rest and eat for 3 hours

  • The clever cycle: You bring your own sauna clothes. A bathrobe and slippers, plus a towel big enough to sit or lie on. If you've forgotten something or drop by spontaneously, we'll provide you with everything you need. We rent and sell towels and slippers.

  • From Monday to Wednesday a sauna cube is reserved for women only.

  • 1. Showering before the sauna is a must.

    2. The sauna cubes are textile-free zones. If you don't like being naked, you can rent a hammam towel and keep it on. No swimsuits or swimming trunks.

    3. Anyone who disturbs, hits on people or takes photos will be thrown out.

    4. If you unexpectedly bump into a friend or colleague: no need to panic, it's the same for both of you.

  • You can rent the Sauna Cubes exclusively: for sports clubs, birthdays, bachelor parties or girls' outings.

The Winter Bistro

The Strandbad Küsnacht is open to everyone from October to the end of March. The bistro yurt with its daily fresh soups, light winter dishes and drinks is a place that nourishes body and soul. Some come here for a small snack or a drink at the bar in the evening, while others come for a soup after the sauna or a chai on the terrace. The sauna area with changing rooms, sauna cubes and quiet yurts is reserved for sauna guests. Open Monday to Saturday from 16:00 to 22:00 and Sunday 10:00 to 22:00 o'clock.

  • Our yurts can be rented for events.

    Prices in winter:

    10:00 to 16:00 o'clock: CHF 800 for the two upper yurts, excluding consumptions.

    16:00 to 22:00 o'clock: CHF 900 for the rear upper yurt, maximum 15 persons excluding consumptions (normal operation in the bistro yurt).

    All day until 22:00 o'clock, CHF 3500 excluding consumptions.

    Catering possible on request.

    Prices in summer:

    CHF 1000 per month per yurt, excluding transportation, set-up and dismantling costs.

Yoga und Sauna, Saturday 15:00 o’clock

  • Wellness means something different for everyone. For some, wellness is a yoga session on a secluded lake, for others it is a whirlpool, solarium, spa or sauna.

    Steaming in the sauna improves health and relaxes the body. Taking a sauna not only strengthens the immune system, but also improves the appearance of the skin with regular sauna sessions.

    Yoga can help you regain your inner balance, manage stress and relieve tension. It also strengthens your muscles and immune system.

    We combine both types of wellness and offer you a Hatha Yoga Flow followed by a sauna. Open Level.

Cold Water/Wim Hof

  • In the course you will learn the 3 components of the Wim Hof Method and experience the incredible effects on your body. Surprise yourself how you will surpass yourself and feel the effects of breathing, cold and mindset.

    No special prerequisites or skills are required for the WHM course, just the joy of learning new things, training your mental strength and gaining more energy and vitality.

Sauna Whisk Cube - each Thursday evening

  • The sauna whisk, called Vihta in Finland and Venik in Russia, is a special sauna ritual.

    For many sauna visitors, the sauna broom is a must-have item. A sauna whisk is a bundle of young tree branches that are used for a special massage in the sauna. Using the sauna whisk during the massage promotes blood circulation, cleanses the skin and enriches it with health. During the massage, the sauna user beats or taps the other sauna user with the broom after dipping it in water. The whisks spread a pleasant fragrance in the air, creating a kind of aromatherapy. Whisks are made from various tree species. The most popular include birch, oak and eucalyptus.

    Visitors hit each other on the upper body, arms and legs with birch branches previously soaked in water. This may sound a little strange at first, but it is actually good for the body - as long as the beating is not too strong. The light blows with the birch whisk ensure that the skin is better supplied with blood - and looks fresher and healthier after the ritual.

    We have reserved one cube for this special sauna ritual every Thursday evening starting at 18:00 o'clock. We ask you to bring your own sauna brooms. Sauna brooms can also be purchased from us for CHF 25.

Sole Sauna Cube

  • Welcome to the Sole Sauna Cube. Enjoy the healing power of salt! From now on, one cube (mixed) is equipped with sole salt every day.
